Our business specializes in custom residential and commercial stonework using local, natural fieldstone, flagstone and more.  We build, rebuild, repair, restore, clean, water seal and tuckpoint stone steps, walks, patios, walls, paver walks, cement work and foundations

Ed Grady’s interest in stone began during his childhood in Lexington, Kentucky where he was surrounded by old stone walls. There are more rock fences here than any place in the United States. As an apprentice, his exposure to the work of Bluegrass region masons sharpened his appreciation for the use of stone in new designs and honed his skill in restoration.

Our work is characterized by strong architectural and functional qualities, suitable for use in both private and public environments.

Today Ed Grady Stone Contracting serves horse farms, state renovation projects, large and small-scale residential projects. Browse our Photos and call 859-333-6353 for an estimate on your next project.

LEGACY TRAIL PROJECT

(Hearald Leader 2010) Legacy Trail, the 12.5 mile recreational trail that one day will stretch from downtown to the Kentucky Horse Park, taking walkers and cyclists through some of the most beautiful countryside in the world.

Ed Grady Stone Contracting is proud to be the stone contractor for this project. During the World Equestrian Games, thousands of international visitors will be seeing Lexington and Central Kentucky for the first time, and they will no doubt love the stone fences along the trail.
